The coming in of a new generation of the Porsche Boxster...

The second generation of the Porsche Boxster (known as 987) was introduced in 2004 at the Paris Motor Show and became available in the 2005 model year. The car remains characteristically similar to its predecessors save for some minor changes. The most obvious difference is found in the headlights which are now more similarly styled to the Carrera GT. As well, the Porsche Boxster intake vents are much larger, with more pronounced horizontal slats which are metallic in color.
