LAX Car Rentals and the Los Angeles Zoo
The Los Angeles was founded in 1966 and is the largest zoo in the city. Located in Griffith Park, it is easy to get to with your LAX car rental. The zoo is open 10am to 5pm everyday of the year except Christmas. The fees are as follows:

- Seniors (age 62 and up) $7
- Children (2-12) $5
- Children under 2 Free
The zoo is very well priced compared to the theme parks, so if you are on a budget you should defiantly take your LAX car rental to the LA Zoo! Parking is free when you pay admission to the zoo.
Go on safari
While you're at the zoo, jump aboard the Safari Shuttle for a quick trip from one end of the Zoo to the other. All day long, seven days a week the Safari Shuttle picks up passengers, circles the Zoo, and returns to the main flamingo exhibit near the front entrance. You can get on and off the tram as often as you like at six different stops. The tram costs 4 dollars and 2 dollars for children, and all proceeds go to the improvement of the zoo. This is a great experience with your LAX car rental.
There are 9 restaurants at the zoo, so you will never go hungry. Also because of its proximity to downtown LA there are literally thousands of hotel options to choose from, and the zoo is a great drive from LAX car rental.
