This 26.2 mile run takes you past the city's best known landmarks as well as a host of parties and live entertainment along the way! Pass by the Hollywood Bowl, Sunset Boulevard, through the Crenshaw, Koreatown, Exposition Park, the Coliseum, Convention Center and the Staples center before ending in the corridor of high rises in the downtown business district. Tofu Festival

This healthy festival that's located right in downtown is sponsored by the Little Tokyo Service Centre. Growing in popularity since its first opening a decade ago, this unique event features everyone's favourite soybean product prepared in a multitude of ways by celebrity chefs (Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto has made several appearances)! Other events include a tofu-eating contest, live music, dance exhibitions, and Taiko drumming.
Los Angeles County Fair

Hollywood Christmas Parade

Where: 6801 Hollywood Boulevard (Entertainment District)
For over 75 years, this annual parade has never failed to amaze its spectators. This evening event lasts for more than 2 hours and traces a 3.5 mile route. The event is littered with many celebrities from the film, TV, and music worlds as well as millions of local and touring spectators! The parade includes a number of marching bands, vintage cars, elaborate floats, Santa Clause himself, and a number of horses, camels and elephants!
Other events to check out include the Halloween Carnival on October 31st as well as the African Marketplace and Cultural Faire that takes place on August 18-September 3rd 2007.
