The Anaheim Ducks are sometimes called the Mighty Ducks, although that's not their official name. They are a professional hockey team from California in the Western Conference and the Pacific Division. The Ducks are owned by Henry and Susan Samueli and are coached by Randy Carlyle. They haven't won any Stanley Cups yet, but they were only founded in 1993. The Anaheim Ducks came to life in 1993 and got their well-known name from the Disney movie "The Mighty Ducks". The logo of the Anaheim Ducks is truly unmistakable. The logo is a webbed foot that forms a "D" followed by the other letters of the word "Ducks". The word "Anaheim" also appears above the team name, making Anaheim the only current NHL team (besides the New York Rangers) to have the team name spelled in script rather than a logo. The old logo of the Ducks was simply a goalie's mask in the shape of a duck bill with two hockey sticks crossed behind it. The mascot is a human-like duck named "Wild Wing".
